-The barn holds 300 people in the main reception area. If you are using a band, the max is 275. If you have over 250 guests, please note that you may not be able to use the swing due to space restrictions.

3. If I want to get married inside, how many people will the South Hall hold?

-The South Hall will hold 200 people with an additional 20-30 person overflow (standing room only) upstairs for indoor weddings.

4. Do I have to use vendors on the preferred vendors list?

-Yes, per Beckendorff Farms contract, you are to use vendors on the approved/preferred vendors list. If you choose to use a vendor off of this list, an additional $250 vendor licensing fee will be charged for each outside vendor.

5. If I use a vendor that is not on the preferred list, do they need insurance?

-Yes, all vendors that are not listed on our preferred/approved list must sign our vendor agreement and provide us with their insurance. All vendor insurances must be for at least $1 million worth of coverage and must list Beckendorff Farms as additionally insured.

6. Can I have my wedding and cocktail hour outside?

-Yes! Your wedding and cocktail hour can be held outside, weather permitting. If the weather is unfavorable, the events taking place outside will be moved indoors. At no time will guests be kept from entering the barn once your event starts.

8. Can I leave my car there overnight?

-No, all vehicles must be moved and are not permitted to be left overnight. You will be charged $100 for each vehicle left overnight. Vehicles left on the grounds past 10:00 AM the following morning will be towed at the owner’s expense.

9. Can I stop by to see the barn at any time since I am getting married there?

-No, an appointment must be made to tour the barn. You may either call Beckendorff Farms or A Splendid Event to set up an appointment – no tours will be given on weekends when weddings are taking place. All guests that show up without an appointment will be asked to leave.

10. Can I use glitter or confetti for my send off?

-No. Glitter, confetti, streamers, helium balloons, rice, hay, and birdseed are not permitted for send offs.

11. Can I use sparklers for my send off?

-Yes, sparklers are allowed for send offs weather permitting . They must be smokeless and no greater than 20 inches long. You will need to provide a bucket filled with sand for the disposal of the sparklers and you will oversee the clean up following the exit. If any sparklers are left on the ground after your event, your deposit will not be returned.

-Yes! Candles may be used but are restricted to table decorations. All candles must be dripless, secured in a glass or decorative piece, and approved by the Facility management prior to use. Dripped or spilled wax will result in a loss of your security deposit.

-Yes, you are more than welcome to purchase your own alcohol. You will be in charge getting the alcohol to Café Natalie and taking the remaining alcohol with you at the end of the reception. If you choose to do this, you do not need to bring in an outside bartender, Café Natalie will bartend for you.

-Bartenders are required to stop serving alcohol 30 minutes prior to the end of your reception. If you pay for additional time the bar will remain open but no alcoholic beverages will be served 30 minutes prior to your exit.
